ADRIANA MARTINEZ

Adriana is native of Chihuahua, Mexico who immigrated to the United States in 1991. She received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Chihuahua and worked in Mexico in the Electronics Division of Ford Motor Company. Upon moving to Michigan, Adriana worked in the automotive industry for a few years and her interest and involvement with immigration didn’t develop until she became involved in community service and non-profit organizations geared toward social justice and service — she worked with SER Metro Detroit and volunteered in several organizations around the area.

After spending over 5 years in the immigration field working for another law firm, Adriana joined Palmer Rey in August 2017 and continued to assist people in need. She worked in a myriad of USCIS and Immigration Court cases, primarily on U-Visas for victims of crimes, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), SIJ (Special Immigrant Juvenile), Cancellation of Removal Cases, Affirmative Asylum and Withholding of Removal Cases, Naturalization and Adjustment of Status. In the fall of 2018 she became the firm’s Office manager, a position she finds truly rewarding.

Adriana loves cooking and enjoys doing yoga when Tundra, her Australian shepherd puppy, gives her a break.
